All Makes Vac & Sew has been in business here in Torrance, CA., in the same location since 1966. Our store was started by my father-in-law (Gene Marten) as a Kirby distributor. He quickly developed the store into one of the more successful vacuum shops here in the southern Los Angeles area. In the early 1970's he realized that he needed to expand the shop to sell more than just one brand of vacuum cleaner.
