ELDS addresses the situation of Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deafened people in the wider society. Our Community Development team works with families of deaf children, helping them to establish fluent communication within the family. Deaf adults visit our offices daily and receive support. Our team also supports older people who are losing their hearing by providing them with assistive technology. We also provide sign language classes and deaf awareness training.
