The Indonesian Satellite Association (ASSI) was established on 28 September 1998 which inaugurated in the Minister of Communications Decree Number 63 year 1998. This organization was established based on the ideals to improve the competitiveness of the Indonesian satellite operators and bring the power of the national satellite industry, including the development of its Human Resources.
