Gawura is a primary school based in Sydney's CBD. It is a School for disadvantaged Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children living in Sydney. Gawura was set up in 2007 by St Andrew's Cathedral School in response to the issue of National Importance - addressing the disparity in educational outcomes between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Australians. Gawura resides in Sydney Square, Sydney in the same building as St Andrew's Cathedral School. All the students are on scholarships. Visit site »| Tweet |
