Foundation Instruments, Inc. commercially offers the THM Rapid Response system for fully automated, on-line, real-time (hourly) monitoring and process control of trihalomethanes at drinking water treatment plants. The THM Rapid Response is capable of determining the concentrations of individual and Total THMs ranging from 0.05 to 150 ppb. The THM Rapid Response uses no reagents (hazardous or otherwise), uses inexpensive nitrogen - not helium, and targets THMs rather than total organic carbon.
