Guaruma is a nonprofit organization based in the Cangrejal River Valley, south of La Ceiba, Honduras. It provides supplemental education to local children in the areas of: photography, English, environmental awareness, and computer skills. It works to create a strong community that takes advantage of its unique location directly between two national parks: Pico Bonito and Nombre de Dios. Guaruma also provides mico finance opportunities for local businesses. Volunteer opportunities are available.
