My name is Michael J Chapman.I was born in Leicester in 1949 and like many boys growing up in the austerity years, I was and still am a keen railway enthusiast.I have hundreds of black & white and colour photographs taken during the last years of steam on British Railways. My collection includes some rarely seen last day photographs, also included are a selection of photographs taken by other railway enthusiast friends.I went on to become a professional photographer.
