Georgian Folk Dance Group “Kelaptari” which is formed at Tbilisi State University of Art and Culture was founded in 1995. The leaders of the group: Kakhi Kelaptrishvili and Khatuna Parkosadze, are the laureates of many international festivals. The debut of the group was in 1996 at “The II Georgian People Dances Festival” which was organized by the “Art Dramatic Foundation” of Georgia and where the group became the laureate of the “First Children Festival World People Dances”.
