I have always been interested in art and photography. As a adolescent I used to practice drawing the characters out of my Archie and Garfield comics. Painting and art are still a very important part of my life, however, photography has become one of my big passions. I think it all began when I went on a canoe trip with my grade 11 class to northern Saskatchewan. We went for a week of camping. The first morning I woke to the sounds of the birds singing.
