This site will introduce you to Iranian-born poet, literary translator, visual artist and writer, Sholeh Wolpe. Shole was born in Iran, but has lived and studied in the Caribbean, Europe and United States. She is the author of two collections of poetry, a book of translations (poetry of Forugh Farrokhzad) for which she was awarded the Lois Roth Translation prize. She is the editor of The Forbidden - Poems from Iran and Its Exiles, and the regional Editor of Table & Pen (edited by Reza Aslan.) Visit site »| Tweet |
