A Syrian fashion designer started as an amateur while studying English literature at Damascus University. Though young, Houida was the first to present two showes in Syria,both shows were highly appraised by the audience as well as the media. Houida moved to the UAE in the year 1997 where she established her own fashion house. She has now turned into a professional especially after the several successful shows in Dubai, Beirut, Paris, as well as Rome.
