Roshi Fernando is an award-winning writer of English fiction, with a Sri Lankan heritage although she was born and brought up in Britain. Her short stories have won or been shortlisted for numerous prizes, including the EFT Sunday Times short story prize in 2011. Her novel Homesick is published by Bloomsbury and Alfred Knopf in 2012.
