The United African Organization's Africans in Chicago Oral History Project documents the stories of African immigrants and refugees in Chicago. Africans in Chicago is intended to engage the public in order to create partnership around shared experiences and promote positive change. The website features short films, interactive maps, timelines, walking-tours and photo galleries in order to situate our interviewees' stories in the context of African, immigration and U.S. history.
