The Nautical Archaeology Society, NAS, is a charity aiming to promote the preservation of maritime cultural heritage, both underwater and on the foreshore. The NAS runs a Training Programme in Underwater and Foreshore Archaeology and runs projects and events in many locations around the UK and with Training Partners around the world. NAS is open to everyone, divers, non-divers, young and old with an interest in maritime archaeology.
