Improvise for Real is a radically different approach to teaching harmony and improvisation. Students learn to enter and explore the world of harmony on their own, and they learn to improvise "for real" without relying on scales, licks or memorized phrases. Students learn to understand any piece of music just by listening to it, and they learn to play directly from their musical imagination. This enables them to enjoy improvising over jazz, blues, rock, classical, flamenco or any other style.
