I am an artist who creates artist books using antique textiles (corsets, underclothing, doll beds). These projects involve a woman's place in society and history. Using historical references, diaries, letters, and images I tell the stories of women who were held in place - physically by their clothing as well as their place in society, whether it is the walls of their home, or by the rules they had to live by at the time.
