Houston Maritime Museum
The Houston Maritime Museum has a collection of over 150 models, including ships, boats, submarines, and oil rigs, designed to educate the public about maritime history and industry. The museum is also home to collection of marine navigation equipment. New exhibits focus on The Port of Houston and the Ship Channel and the Texas Navies. The museum docents lead unique tours.
