Dr. Zaré is a board-certified fellowship-trained laparoscopic surgeon who has been in practice since 2002. He completed his specialty training in general surgery at Georgetown University, Washington, DC. During his residency, he was recognized with many awards including the "Outstanding Resident in Laparoscopy" award in 2001 by the department of surgery for his skills and keen interest in laparoscopic surgery, the "String of Pearl" award nomination in 2002 by Georgetown University Medical School
